Separated at Birth? was originally a feature of Spy magazine from 1986-1998, where two incongruous people (celebrities, politicians, etc.) were juxtaposed for comic effect, eventually accompanied by a rhyming caption. The Dawgmeister's Separated@Birth was originally developed for the weekly fall UGA Football blog, and soon expanded to cover all areas of life. The Dawgmeister acknowledges the originators of the feature and honors them as an inspiration.
